Candlelight red
The band played all over central PA, New York and the surrounding areas while building up its fan base. Whether it's to pray and focus on religious teachings, or to remember a person or event, a candlelight service is a calming, serene way to bring groups of people together for a common cause. Candlelight Red aren’t following an American Idol-type trend, they started the good old fashioned way by slugging it out in the clubs lots of ‘em. The true meaning of a candlelight service really depends on those who are attending, and what the organizers have planned.
For example, to raise awareness for breast cancer, pink candles could be used, since pink is the color associated with fighting the disease.įor small group services, such as those for a funeral, the candles can be personalized with the name and dates of birth and death of the deceased. The most common color for these candles is white, though you'll often see red candles for advent, or colored candles for certain causes. With smaller candles or those that risk dripping hot wax, a small candle base with a bowl-shaped disk at the bottom can be provided to protect the hands. Working with Grammy-nominated producer David Ivory (whose credits include working with Silvertide, Halestorm, and the Roots. Around the same time, the quartet inked a record deal with Imagen Records. Almost any type of candle can be used at a candlelight service, such as taper candles, votives, or even tea lights.
